COURSE DESCRIPTION

In this course, you will learn how to sculpt and relieve the background material on your object.

​

OBJECTIVES

​

• We are creating Special tools for sculpting and background relief.

• The use of tools to properly treat the background.

• The use of customized punches for sculpting and smoothing surfaces.

​

• The use of a micro-motor  to help with the buffing and polishing 

​​

All tools and Materials are provided in the class

​

CLASS PROJECT(S)

Oval Grip plate or a pendant

PREREQUISITES

Completion of the Beginner Hand Engraving course or instructor approval is required.

An understanding of proper tool sharpening and basic engraving techniques.
