Course Objectives

This course will teach you how to measure, design, and lay out round stones for any piece of jewelry. All settings are done under the Microscope and the Pneumatic engraving machine. 

• Set up the bench and equipment

• where to start the layout and design

• cuts and measurements for the placement of stones

• Sharpen gravers specifically for Micro pave setting

• style includes Regular Pave, Zigzag, shared prongs, individual prongs, and lots more.

 

CLASS PROJECT(S)

Practice plates and rings

All tools and Materials are provided in the class

 

Requirements:

 

Completion of Gemstone setting class or instructor approval

providing that student has a good experience in a gemstone setting. 

 

Course duration: 5 Days 

Attendance: 40 Hours
