This Class introduces you to gemstone setting techniques by

teaching you how to set stones with the aid of a microscope,

Pneumatic machine and different setting tools.

Course Objectives 

• Correct setup of a workbench

• setting up Microscope, Pneumatic machine, and tools

• Tool sharpening, as well as sharpening theory and geometry

• Proper use of work-holding fixtures and devices

• Layout techniques for round stones

• Round stone fitting and seat preparation

• prong, flush(gypsy setting), Bezel, bead, Star, and channel setting techniques using round stones

Requirement

No requirement or previous experience is necessary. 

Course duration: 5 Days 

Attendance: 40 Hours

Monday to Friday, from 10 am to 6 pm, with a one-hour lunch break.

Maximum of eight students per Class.
