Design and Engrave a Commemorative Inscription.

Objectives

• Learn the fundamentals of the Script and Roman alphabet

• Learn to cut letters and numerals

• Learn the cuts that form Script or Block letters

• Learn the graver geometry best suited for lettering and how to sharpen the tools

• Learn to compose simple inscriptions

• Learn the importance of the Line of Beauty in Script lettering and where it can lead to an ornamental designing
