Course Description

This course is designed to give students the principles and knowledge to create beautiful artistic designs.

 

Course Objectives
 

• understanding the anatomy of scrolls 

• flow and movement 

• building scrolls in layers 

• breakdown and understanding of complex scrolls and ornamental designs

• flowers 

• leaves in many different styles and shapes 

• shading 

 

All tools and Materials are provided in the class.

 

Class project

 

Design and engraving plate with two or four different scroll styles

Have the desire to learn, laugh, and have fun
