Cancellation Policy

Enrollment & Cancellation Policy Enrollment may be submitted online at www.jewelryinstitute.org/enroll. All cancellations must be submitted by email to info@jewelryinstitute.org prior to the scheduled start date of the course. The Jewelry Institute of America will confirm receipt and approval of the cancellation by email. All timeframes below are calculated in calendar days. Cancellation Fee Schedule • More than 14 calendar days before the class start date: A 5% processing fee will be retained; the remaining 95% of tuition will be refunded, less any non-refundable registration or materials fee. • 8–14 calendar days before the class start date: A cancellation fee equal to 50% of total tuition, plus a 5% processing fee (55% total), will be retained; the remaining balance will be refunded. • 7 calendar days or fewer before the class start date, no-shows, and cancellations after the class has begun: No refund will be issued. Refund Processing Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 90 calendar days of the emailed cancellation confirmation. Institute-Initiated Changes The Jewelry Institute of America reserves the right to reschedule or cancel a course due to insufficient enrollment or instructor availability, in which case students will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to a future course date.
