Lilo Palma
Director & Master Insturctor
Born in Germany, Lilo Palma is a graduate of the prestigious School of Goldsmiths in Pforzheim — one of the most respected goldsmithing institutions in the world. She has called Mexico City home for more than 23 years, where she has taught as a professor at Tecnológico de Monterrey, Campus Santa Fe, and served for the past 15 years as director of the Academia De Orfebres in Interlomas.
As a goldsmith, Lilo creates unique pieces and small collections in gold, silver, platinum, and natural gemstones, blending traditional craftsmanship with a modern, contemporary aesthetic. Her work has been exhibited internationally and is held in museum collections in Paris, France, and Madrid, Spain. She has also served as a judge in prestigious jewelry competitions and has been featured in numerous magazine and newspaper publications.
Lilo leads the Goldsmith Technician program at Academia De Orfebres in Mexico City, and teaches that same program for JIA students in Katy, Houston, TX, through the schools' exclusive partnership — bringing the rigor of a European goldsmithing education and 15 years of running her own academy directly into the classroom.
